The PSOE of Arrecife denounces that the residents of El Antonio, José Pereira Galviaty and La Cristina streets, all in the Titerroy neighborhood, have been "isolated in their homes for two months due to the public works" of the capital's City Council. This was announced by the opposition party in a press release.

Councilor Alfredo Mendoza has indicated that "citizens come to the PSOE tired of a mayor who does not listen to them and a construction company that ignores them." And as of this Tuesday, "it is impossible to enter and exit the garages, emergency services, ambulance, firefighters, police, etcetera cannot access."

Newly paved by the PP, newly opened

The socialists have highlighted that the residents are amazed by the "mockery" and the "constant waste" of the Popular Party, which has been in the mayor's office of Arrecife for half a decade. "The streets were paved a few months ago for the electoral campaign, and the asphalt money has been thrown away because now they have the street wide open," Mendoza commented.

For the PSOE, "it is evident" that the organization and management of public works in the capital "has been a disaster that has ruined businesses, embittered residents and wasted money by paving a street for a few months and then having to reopen it."

To conclude, they have requested Yonathan de León to act seriously, and coordinate the works and demand speed from the builders, "Parties are not the basis of a government, serious work is."
