The Popular Party has warned of a new "dumping of stones and cement" on the coast of Puerto del Carmen, this time in the small pier located next to Playa Chica, which it says has generated "concern" among residents. For this reason, it has asked the tripartite government group of PSOE, Podemos and Lava to "clearly report on the work being carried out" in "one of the emblematic points of the coast of La Tiñosa".
The councilor and president of the Popular Party of Tías, Francisco Aparicio, denounces that it is unknown what type of action is intended to be carried out and considers that after what happened two years ago with the fillings in El Poril, "the alert that this work is generating is understandable".

"It is urgent that the mayor explain the purpose of the work, whether it has all the pertinent permits and why he continues with that eagerness to fill the coast of La Tiñosa with more stones and more cement," says the mayor.
As they did with the previous intervention, the popular ones once again question "the way in which socialists and Podemos are translating their commitment to caring for the environment and sustainability in the municipality of Tías".

“Their mouths are full of talk about ecology, defending the environment, and then we witness the placement of stones and cement that completely change the physiognomy of unique and special places that are so dear to the residents of La Tiñosa, as is the case of the pier and the entire surroundings of Playa Chica,” denounces Aparicio.
