The Popular Party wants to draw attention to the decision of the socialists to renounce their representatives in five Information Committees, thus favoring the Group of "non-attached". Specifically, the PSOE's resignation entails the loss of one of its two representatives on the area committees of the Cabildo.

The Special Accounts Committee, the Economy, Finance and Contracting Committee, the Transport, Agriculture, Livestock and Hunting Committee, the Fisheries Committee and the Island Security Plan Committee are the information committees that will be affected by this decision of the socialists. The Popular Party believes that this resignation "benefits the Group of PIL defectors", as they will see their representation increased by one member.

The Popular Group has also expressed its surprise at this socialist initiative, "since it will leave in the hands of those whom it once recused, Juan Pedro Hernández and Higinio Hernández, the representation that legally corresponds to the PSOE councillors".
