The Party of Independents of Lanzarote (PIL) accuses the mayor of Arrecife, María Isabel Déniz, of building a house possibly "in her husband's name" in Los Valles, Teguise, as if it were an "agricultural improvement project".

The formation assures that the works "are not a simple tool shed" since it occupies an area of almost 200 square meters and looks like a rural chalet. Likewise, from the PIL they consider that the work has a paving improper of a farm. "Walls of more than two meters high have been raised, a clearing has been carried out to improve the location and the views and the cistern has been half-buried, instead of being completely buried as required, they maintain from the PIL.

In addition, the former party colleagues of the mayor assure that both the Seprona and the agents of Environment and the Ecological Brigade have denounced this work before the Environmental Protection Agency that "to date has not taken any measures such as the normal sealing or file". The party also denounces that the work does not have a license.
