Coalición Canaria celebrated this Wednesday in the church of Los Remedios, in Yaiza, a mass in honor of the former president of the Government of the Canary Islands, Adán Martín, who died on October 10 at the age of 66, victim of a long illness.
Many were the personalities who came to the event to remember Adán Martín. Among the most prominent was the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Fisheries of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Fajardo Feo, as well as the president of the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, and other public officials of the party such as Marci Acuña, José Torres Stinga, Leonardo Rodríguez, Rita Hernández, Juan Pedro Hernández, Juan Cruz, Mariano de León, Antonio Morales, Luis Morales, Juan Santana, Aquilino Romero and Juan Antonio de la Hoz, among others. Affiliates and supporters of the party also came to the church of Los Remedios de Yaiza.
Also noteworthy is the presence of Rita Martín, former Minister of Tourism of the Canary Islands for the Popular Party, who wanted to attend this mass, officiated by the parish priest Sixto Álvarez, as well as the socialist councilor in Yaiza, Olivia Cedrés.
In this way, the nationalist formation paid tribute to whom, according to the party's Secretary of Organization, Marci Acuña, has been "a reference and a guide". "He will always be in our memory", he added.
