The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Public Works, has reopened José María Gil and Rubicón streets in the municipality of San Bartolomé to traffic, following the completion of improvement works within the framework of the "Molina a Molina" project.

The Councilor for Public Works, Jacobo Medina, highlighted the importance of this reopening for the mobility and revitalization of the area. "With the opening of these streets, we are restoring normality to one of the main commercial and residential areas of San Bartolomé, facilitating the transit of both pedestrians and vehicles," he said.

Medina also thanked the residents and businesses for their collaboration during the execution of the works. "We know that all construction work involves some inconvenience, so we want to thank the citizens for their patience and understanding. This intervention has been key to improving the accessibility and safety of the area," said the councilor.

With this reopening, the Cabildo of Lanzarote continues to work on improving the island's road network and modernizing the island's urban spaces.

This action, which has an investment of 495,348.10 euros, has been financed through the Canary Islands Development Funds (FDCAN), managed by the Planning and Project Coordination area headed by Vice President María Jesús Tovar.
