The Cabildo of Lanzarote launches a tender for the acquisition of an electric van for the Department of Culture

This transport will be used to improve the logistics of cultural events and services on the island

The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Culture, is launching a public tender for the acquisition of an adapted electric van and a charging center for an amount of more than 40,000 euros. This transport will be used for the transfer of materials necessary for the realization of cultural activities on the island, with the aim of improving the logistics of events and services, while reinforcing the environmental commitment of the Island Institution. 

The Minister of Culture, Jesús Machín, points out that "this new vehicle improves the efficiency in the transport of materials needed for the development of the different activities programmed by the department." "The new van," adds Machín, "will facilitate the transfer of equipment between key cultural spaces, such as the Víctor Fernández Gopar El Salinero Theater and the El Almacén Cultural Innovation Center, among others."

Likewise, this new adapted van will be used for the scenic and cultural activities that are carried out between the Cabildo and the municipalities of the island.
