The Plenary of the Cabildo approved this Saturday the granting of a subsidy of one hundred thousand euros to the Association of Children with Cancer Pequeño Valiente. This subsidy is intended to co-finance, together with the Cabildos of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, the rehabilitation and adaptation of a property ceded by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, which will be used as a home for children displaced to the capital island to receive treatment.

The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, thanked all the groups for their support of the initiative. "Attending to requests such as that of Pequeño Valiente is something that commits all of us regardless of political colors. The fight against cancer becomes more important when it affects girls and boys who deserve all our involvement above any partisan consideration," he stressed.
