The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, met this Thursday with representatives of the companies Canaryfly and Líneas Romero as a result of the agreement they have reached to improve connectivity with La Graciosa. In this way, starting on May 26, they will offer their passengers a new travel package.

This new experience includes the plane ticket, which must be purchased at least 48 hours before departure; the transfer from the airport to the port of Órzola, in the north of Lanzarote, and from there the transfer to La Graciosa using the Líneas Romero boats.

The new travel package was presented at a meeting held at the Cabildo of Lanzarote, which was attended by the president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo; the CEO of Canaryfly, Régulo Andrade; the commercial, marketing and communication director of Canaryfly Jon Ramsden; the CEO of Líneas Romero, Luis Romero Toledo; and its managing director Luis Padrón Perdomo.

The president of the Cabildo highlighted that this agreement between companies will improve the mobility of residents in La Graciosa and expand the offer for tourists and visitors, which she considered "very important" to improve connectivity between the islands and the well-being of residents in both islands.

For his part, Régulo Andrade stated that the alliance with Líneas Romero aims to offer the company's users a complete travel experience between Lanzarote and La Graciosa, so it is "a step forward" in improving communications between the islands.

Lanzarote is also a firm commitment of Canaryfly with which the airline currently has 9 daily flights from Tenerife and Gran Canaria, generating figures such as those of 2022 in which more than 250,000 passengers traveled to the island of Lanzarote and that with the increase in places offered, this year 2023 plans to double it.

Régulo Andrade also explained that with this new route, the company has modified its logo which now includes the eighth point that symbolizes the island of La Graciosa and that according to his words "was a pending debt of Canaryfly". "Our objective is to work on new strategic alliances with other companies that allow us to improve the service provided to residents and tourists, further expanding the possibilities and alternatives for travel between the islands," added the CEO of the company.
