The Public Sector Procurement Platform has inserted the announcement of tender for the conditioning of the operations area of the Container Terminal of the port of Arrecife with an investment of 641,207.76 euros, including taxes.
The mayoress of Arrecife, the popular Astrid Pérez, has welcomed this new investment programmed in the port area of the capital of Lanzarote, "which will contribute to the modernization of the port of Arrecife, and with a new public investment that will generate employment and economic reactivation in the companies of the island."
The Procurement Platform has inserted since July 17, 2020 the announcement of the Port Authority of Las Palmas where this new work is tendered. As noted in the tender, interested companies have until August 13, 2020 to submit to this contest, with funding from the Port Authority of Las Palmas. The construction company that is awarded will have eight months for the execution of these works to improve the terminal
Awarded the elaboration of the project to expand the cruise ship dock
Ástrid Pérez, who is a representative of the Arrecife City Council on the Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Las Palmas, has welcomed the fact that the award for the elaboration of the project for the second phase of the cruise ship dock has also been given the green light. This award, published in the Procurement Platform, has gone to the engineering study Neos Maritime Consulting, S.L, for 51,333.00 euros, including the IGIC.
This company will provide technical assistance for the study of solutions for the expansion of the Naos cruise ship dock, whose proposals must be completed before the fall of 2020.
The Arrecife City Council recalls that the works on the south dike are currently underway, which is highly demanded by port agents in view of the restrictive operating situations that are experienced inside Los Mármoles with south storms. The south dike is expected to be completed in 2020.
