Six of the public entities dependent on the Cabildo of Lanzarote have failed the evaluation of the Transparency Index of the Canary Islands (ITCanarias) corresponding to the year 2018 of the Transparency Commissioner and two of them have barely exceeded zero. Furthermore, in the case of Eólicas de Lanzarote, it is indicated as a "non-compliant" company, which means that it has not rendered accounts and/or does not have a website, according to the report.

Insular de Aguas de Lanzarote (Inalsa) and the Water Consortium of Lanzarote are the public companies of the Cabildo of Lanzarote that have obtained the worst score, with 0.30 and 0.51 respectively. In fact, they are located in the ranking of the 10 least transparent public companies in the archipelago during 2018, when CC governed in the Cabildo of Lanzarote with Pedro San Ginés as president.

Specifically, Inalsa appears as the third least transparent public company in the Canary Islands, behind Promoción de la Ciudad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, belonging to the city council of said city, and the Fundación Canaria Factoría de la Innovación Turística of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife although, regarding the latter, although it is included in the list, it is indicated that it has been removed from the census.

For its part, the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands places the Insular Water Consortium of Lanzarote as the eighth least transparent company in the archipelago.

The Insular Water Council of Lanzarote also fails in transparency according to the Commissioner, although in this case it does so with a 2.33. The Autonomous Island Tax Organization and the Sociedad de Promoción Exterior de Lanzarote (SPEL) are the other public companies of the Cabildo of Lanzarote that do not approve in transparency, having obtained a score of 2.97 and 3.52 respectively.

Only the Tourist Centers and the Emergency Consortium approve

Thus, only the Art and Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo and the Security and Emergency Consortium have approved the evaluation of the Transparency Index of the Canary Islands (ITCanarias) corresponding to the year 2018 of the Transparency Commissioner.

Furthermore, the Security and Emergency Consortium is among the 20 most transparent public companies in the Canary Islands, specifically in position number 18, having achieved a score of 9.21. The Tourist Centers, however, have only approved with a 5.3.
