At twelve noon the square was a hive of people, wearing their best clothes, as tradition dictates, to gather around the image of the Saint and begin the processional parade. The town's municipal band headed the procession, a few steps behind the image of San Bartolomé paraded followed by the clergy, authorities and the general public. The route began in the church and then paraded through the streets San Simón and Dolores Ferrer until reaching the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente square.
In the tent installed in the square, the celebration of the Holy Mass took place, which was concelebrated by nine priests and sung masterfully by the Municipal Choir of San Bartolomé directed by Mrs. Carmen Siverio.
Once finished, the processional route continued, going through Rubicón and Calderetas streets until arriving back at the church. Once the image crossed the portico of the church, the neighbors returned to their homes to taste the special food and desserts of the day and, as tradition dictates, sharing them with family members and the odd guest.
