The San Bartolomé City Council allocates 131,000 euros as subsidies nominated for the promotion and support of associations and groups of the Third Sector that carry out their activity in the municipality.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, points out that these subsidies are "part of the support that this City Council wants to give to the entities that carry out such an important task, as necessary in our municipality, reaching the most vulnerable groups of people and representing a loudspeaker for these on many occasions."
For her part, the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Medina, detailed that a total of 13 associations and social groups will benefit from these aids, among which are Adislan, Asociación Mararía, Tinguafaya, AFOL, Apsal, Sentir TEA, El Cribo, Afacoda, AFA LF, Alanem, Flora Acoge, Aspercan, Creciendo Yaiza and Fundación Pequeño Valiente, and that the subsidies will allow supporting the maintenance and operation and give visibility to the entities.
From the consistory they consider that the institutional support to these associations is "fundamental" so that their work is supported from the economic and social point of view.
