Podemos in the Cabildo denounces that "between December 2013 and December 2014, Pedro San Ginés lifted the objection raised by the Cabildo's Intervention to a package of invoices totaling 1,595,026 euros and that were processed without the appropriate contracting files, and therefore outside the Public Service Contracts Law."

According to the formation, "these invoices correspond to payments made to image and sound companies, travel agencies, pharmaceutical companies, printers, IT companies, security and transport, bypassing the legal procedures for their contracting."

"In addition, these payments correspond to companies that provide services of successive demand, that is, of foreseeable payments that the Cabildo knows perfectly that it will have to face, so logic and legality indicate that they should be undertaken based on the competition regime stipulated by the Law," say the councilors of Podemos.

From the political formation they explain that "it should be noted that the amount of 1,600,000 euros has been calculated without taking into account the concession contracts linked to the UTE that manages part of the environmental complex of Zonzamas and with companies and associations linked to social services that are also currently outside the contracting procedure."

Finally, they criticize that, "this way of acting by Pedro San Ginés for years favors corrupt practices, cronyism and favoritism when making contracts, implies discrimination towards other companies and is a behavior to be eradicated within public institutions. We are talking about a gigantic volume of invoices paid by the presidency of the Cabildo despite the warnings transmitted from the Intervention, and that raises disturbing doubts about the legality of Pedro San Ginés' actions in contracting matters."
