Loli Corujo has examined the rehabilitation works, already completed, of the LZ-2 road, in the section between the airport and the Playa Honda shopping center. The candidate to repeat as president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote was accompanied by Isidro Pérez, who also aspires to repeat as mayor of San Bartolomé, also for the PSOE.
The president of the Cabildo was able to verify that the rehabilitation actions of this section undertaken by the Cabildo have made it possible to increase the safety and fluidity of automobile traffic in one of the areas with the highest influx and the largest gateway to the island.
Thousands of vehicles daily
In the same way, Isidro Pérez emphasized that the works have been completed "given the importance of this road for connectivity and mobility in the municipality, as well as the need to have a road in optimal conditions in a place that supports the passage of thousands of vehicles daily."
Among the works carried out, the following stand out, among others, the improvement of the asphalt drainage so that there is a correct evacuation of rainwater and the replacement of the existing metal barriers both on the LZ-2 from the airport and on the service road, in both cases to comply with current regulations.
