The Lanzarote Tourism Board and the Foreign Promotion Society have started this week an important promotion in Germany that will take place in the cities of Frankfurt, Berlin and Stuttgart and will last until November 9.
The promotion is aimed at the general public and will take place in the main train stations of the aforementioned cities. To this end, a structure has been designed where the island's tourist resources and its main attractions will be present, through projections, photographic supports or promotional material.
In addition to this campaign, there are important joint promotion agreements with Tui and Airberlin, two of the main tourist and airline agents in the German market. The aim of this series of actions is to enhance the image and tourist positioning of Lanzarote in this market, in order to help improve the entry of German tourists to the island.
As an opening event, the press has been invited to the station itself, followed by a public relations event with a selection of German tour operators and press agents. For this promotion, the Lanzarote Tourist Board and the Foreign Promotion Society have had the logistical and economic support of Turespaña, through its Foreign Offices in the cities of Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich, to which the city of Stuttgart belongs. The dates of the exhibition in the respective cities would be as follows: Frankfurt, from October 21 to 26, Berlin, from October 28 to November 2 and Stuttgart, from November 3 to 9.
In view of the inaugurations and subsequent public relations events, the Island Corporation's Councillor for Tourism, María José Docal, and the manager of the Lanzarote Tourist Board and Foreign Promotion Society, Héctor Fernández, have travelled to Germany.
