Lanzarote Avanza presented this Tuesday, in the cultural center of Mancha Blanca, the candidacy headed by Cándido Marcos Lorenzo Hormiga for mayor of Tinajo and the proposals he intends to develop "to improve the welfare of this municipality." Surrounded by neighbors and visible faces of the electoral alliance such as Gladys Acuña, Óscar Noda or Mame Fernández, Cándido Lorenzo detailed one by one the objectives of Lanzarote Avanza to govern Tinajo "from closeness with the people, sincerity and citizen commitment." "If after 33 years walking the streets of this municipality there are people who do not know me, it is that I have not done something well," he said
According to him, Lanzarote Avanza wants to promote agriculture in Tinajo "improving the conditions of the countryside and giving way to high-quality products." One of the initiatives presented by the candidate was the "creation of urban gardens that regenerate our agricultural tradition."

Fishing is another sector "that deserves the attention of Lanzarote Avanza", he said. "We want a fishing shelter to help traditional fishermen in the municipality to carry out their activity in a productive and safe way," he said.
Education and care for young and old people are aspects that were also valued by Cándido Lorenzo in the presentation of his candidacy. "The education of young people in the municipality must promote the autonomy of students. Bilingualism and mobility are essential to be able to defend themselves in a changing world of new challenges and opportunities," he said.
Commitment to the elderly and improvements in cleaning
Lanzarote Avanza also expressed its commitment to the elderly "to get them out of oblivion." "We will address the Dependency Law and create a leisure and assistance program for the elderly, promoting that their wisdom is transferred to younger neighbors interested in learning firsthand about agriculture, fishing and livestock," said Cándido Lorenzo, who, in the healthy leisure section, proposes "the improvement and legalization of teleclubs as essential meeting points."

On the other hand, the candidate of Lanzarote Avanza warned about the need to undertake improvements in the cleaning service of the municipality "providing Tinajo with the necessary material and personnel to achieve it." "Sweepers and cleaning equipment, the adaptation of the mobile park for the different municipal departments with the necessary material, but also the review and adaptation of category to the contracts of the City Council's staff will be among our priorities," said Candido Lorenzo, who trusts "in the municipal support" understanding that the proposals of him and his work team "come from the knowledge of the municipality and the needs of its people."
