Jeziel Martín will be the candidate for the San Bartolomé City Council for the upcoming elections in May 2023. This was announced by the party's president in Lanzarote, Ástrid Pérez, at a press conference held at 11:15 a.m. this Wednesday. "I face the challenge with great enthusiasm, with great desire. I am very aware of the responsibility I face, but I take the step because I feel prepared to present and carry out a program that improves the situation of the San Bartolomé City Council," said the candidate for mayor of the municipality.
"The San Bartolomé City Council is mired in a propagandistic whirlwind, of electoral promises without any justification. The situation has been ideal, it has had the golden opportunity to solve the problems of the municipality and there they have remained. We are practically the same as in 2015. From now on, I assure you that I will work, be close to the people. We will build our project and listen to the residents," said Martín.
"Finally, I want to say that I will not do it alone. I have a great team with me, young people with experience. I think it is the best combination for politics, to bring freshness. We are very confident that we can achieve it for the good of the municipality," concluded the candidate.
For her part, the president of the PP in Lanzarote, Ástrid Perez, pointed out that the San Bartolomé City Council "has dedicated itself to living off income and living off publicity" and added that it "maintains the problems unresolved for years."
"I am very proud to present a person who has demonstrated their worth. A responsible, honest person, who has youth and experience. A good leader is someone who has political experience, and he has gained it in a city council as complicated as Arrecife. San Bartolomé deserves a mayor like Jeziel Martín," concluded Pérez.
