The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, has dismissed this Thursday the four councilors of the Popular Party, after the expulsion of the socialist councilors from the Arrecife City Council. Before signing the decrees, the president has communicated it to the councilors of the First Institution.
In this way, the pact that the PSOE and the PP maintained in the two Lanzarote institutions is broken.
The four councilors are Jacobo Medina as vice president and councilor of Public Works, Nerea Santana of Transport, New Technologies and Employment, Kiko Aparicio, Emergencies and Sports and Ángel Vázquez as councilor of Tourism.
She has also dismissed the non-elected councilor of Mobility and Accessibility, Pancho Hernández.
