Former councilor and former mayor of Haría, Chaxiraxi Niz, has presented the list with which she will compete in the elections on May 28.

Niz has exclusively informed about the Compromiso por Haría list for the elections on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero's morning show.

This past Monday, both Chaxirazi Niz and Armando Bonilla resigned from their positions as councilors in the Northern island's Council. It should be remembered that both had started the legislature under the ranks of Coalición Canaria, but last year they became part of the Mixed Group. Afterwards, they announced the creation of a new political project: Compromiso por Haría.

A day after resigning from her position, Chaxiraxi Niz announces the complete candidacy of Compromiso por Haría to the City Council.

"This project is not an extension, it is a new project. The good thing about this formation is that everyone has put their number, everyone who is here is because they consider that it is the position they should occupy", Niz clarified about why her partner Armando Bonilla does not accompany her in the first positions but is in fifth place.

In addition, the former mayor has reported that Alejandro Hernández, formerly of Coalición Canaria who was initially part of this initiative, will not accompany her on the list of this new political formation.
