Children and adults were able to enjoy throughout the day the activities programmed by Pedro Calero, candidate for mayor of Tías by Coalición Canaria, to show citizens his electoral proposal "aimed at families and the support they should receive to educate their children." The activities carried out this Saturday in the Plaza del Varadero consisted of drawing workshops, body painting, exercises and psychomotor games, knot making, jumping on mats, makeup, gymkhana and traditional games.

According to Pedro Calero Lemes, "this workshop is the expression of the priority of Coalición Canaria in Tías, in its electoral proposal, to reconcile the family and work life of the residents of Tías and also help them with the education of their children" because, as he stated, "I am convinced that in this way we can work for the community and feel like citizens of a friendly municipality that attends to all our needs."

In addition, Pedro Calero explains that the event was also held "to highlight the shortcomings and the loneliness faced by families in the municipality of Tías when it comes to educating and enjoying their children."

"From Coalición Canaria in Tías, we are committed to creating 12 children's areas or parks for children to play in, a program of children's events and festivals, two municipal nurseries with schedules adapted to most workers, taking advantage of schools during the hours and days when there is no school activity to be used for the stay of children with monitors while their parents work," said Pedro Calero.
