The Nationalist Group (CC-PNC) in the Cabildo regrets the "inefficiency in terms of sustainable mobility of the current government group supported by the PSOE with the support of Unidas Podemos and Juan Manuel Sosa."
Last July, Coalición Canaria revealed "a series of technical incidents that had been occurring at the Cabildo's charging points and that users have been suffering continuously since 2021." After submitting a proposal to the plenary requesting the urgent repair of these stations, as well as the installation of new points, the Nationalist Group's proposal was unanimously approved, which also included an agreement by which the Government Group committed to expanding the charging network of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, frozen since María Dolores Corujo came to the Presidency.
As Pérez Cabrera explained, “our request was clear; to ensure that the Cabildo's charging network would function correctly again and to alleviate, through the installation of new stations, the setback in terms of sustainable mobility that we have suffered on the island in these three years of fictitious environmental policies.”
The nationalists assure that three months after the approval of the plenary agreement "the technical incidents continue to make the normal use of the charging spaces for electric vehicles managed by the island's first institution unfeasible."
