The Councilor for Urban Planning and Employment of the Arrecife City Council, Maciot Cabrera, will take this Wednesday, October 30, to the Local Government Board, the approval of five urban licenses aimed at promoting economic activity and meeting the growing housing needs in the capital.
As the councilor explains, these are single-family and commercial housing projects, as well as the construction of an industrial warehouse and a service station, which will contribute to job creation and urban development in Arrecife.
In the commercial field, the granting of a license for the construction of a one-story and basement industrial warehouse on Tenderete Street, which includes 106 parking spaces, stands out. "This project aims to facilitate access to new job opportunities, while improving citizens' access to new products," Cabrera emphasizes.
Likewise, the obtaining of a license for the installation of a service station on León y Castillo Street is being approved. "This new equipment will not only provide an additional service to residents and visitors of Arrecife, but will also boost the local economy with the creation of jobs," the councilor insists.
Regarding housing, several licenses will be approved this Wednesday that will allow the construction of residences in different areas of the capital. Among them, the one requested for the construction of a single-family home on Las Adelfas Street is included.
In addition, the authorization of a two-story building on Juan II Street, which will house a home and a commercial space, is planned.
Finally, the extension of the urban license granted for the construction of a single-family home on Sabín Berthelot Street is submitted to the approval of the Government Board, in order to guarantee the continuity of this residential project.
Councilor Maciot Cabrera has highlighted the importance of all these licenses in the context of urban planning management in Arrecife, emphasizing that "our commitment from the City Council is to respond to the demand for housing and, at the same time, create the necessary conditions for the commercial sector to grow, thus generating employment and favoring the revitalization of the local economy. These new licenses are a reflection of our firm commitment to improving the quality of life of the citizens of Arrecife."
