Air Nostrum will connect Lanzarote with Santiago de Compostela

Air Nostrum, Iberia's subsidiary for regional flights, will connect Lanzarote, in a direct flight from December 21 to January 7, with Santiago de Compostela. In addition, the company will reinforce the routes it operates regularly and which during the winter season connect the island with Malaga and Seville. This was explained by the general director of Air Nostrum, Miguel Ángel Falcón, to the Minister of Tourism, María José Docal, and the managing director of the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society, Héctor Fernández.

The changes applied to the company's flight schedule will consolidate the airline's position in Lanzarote, and represent a substantial advance in connections. This is because the destinations are expanded to facilitate the contribution of tourists to the island, while this offer also allows the citizens of Lanzarote to travel to a total of three peninsular destinations, comfortably and without the need to make stopovers.

In the case of flights with Santiago de Compostela, a flight has been scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in each direction. The aircraft bound for the Galician capital are scheduled to depart from Lanzarote airport at 11:00 a.m., while from Lavacolla airport it is set at 3:40 p.m.

To these flights scheduled to respond to demand in the special Christmas period, we must add the reinforcement of the regular operation. In fact, the weekly flight that connects Lanzarote with Malaga goes to a daily flight. The same happens with the connection with Seville, which will have a daily flight in each direction instead of one from Monday to Saturday.
