A special team of inspectors will travel to the island to inspect part-time contracts in Lanzarote. This was confirmed by the head of the Labor and Social Security Inspectorate of the province of Las Palmas, Andrés Fernández Temprano, in a meeting held with the Lanzarote Business Confederation. According to the CEL, this team will carry out an inspection campaign to verify that the conditions of this contractual modality are met in the months of October and November.
The CEL, for its part, expressed its "satisfaction with the execution of this campaign", they point out. The meeting was attended by the president of the CEL, Juan de León, who was accompanied by the coordinator of the underground economy project and the sociologist of the same, Ana Sicilia de Ganzo. And the main reason for the meeting was the exchange of impressions and data about the underground economy within the project "Action Plan against the underground economy: Advice Point for legalization", which is being carried out by the CEL.
At the meeting, the CEL also expressed its satisfaction with the new headquarters of the Labor Inspectorate on the island, located on the Rambla Medular, next to the Mercantile Registry, with "new facilities more in line with the new times, which will allow a better work of the inspection".
