The young woman from Lanzarote, Eva Ruiz Ibáñez, has qualified for the final of the television contest "Tú si que vales", from the Telecinco network. This final will be held on December 23 at 9:30 p.m., where the young singer, only 11 years old, has arrived after captivating the jury by performing the song "María se bebe las calles", by Pasión Vega.
Eva was selected by the organization to participate directly in the semifinals, held on December 9, after her mother sent a video by messaging to the production company, and the jury of the program, formed by the humorous duo Los Morancos, the actress Loles León, the professor of dramatic art and interpretation Ángel Llácer and Noemí Galera, casting director of Operación Triunfo, has decided that she is one of the 15 artists who will compete to win the contest.
Experience on stage
Eva Ruiz Ibáñez already knows what it is to win since she won first place in the Arrecife City Song Festival, held last June within the program of the Fiestas del Carmen in the capital neighborhood of Valterra. The young soloist took the triumph, not only in the children's category, but also in the adult category. Despite her young age, she has already performed at several local festivals, especially in the municipality of San Bartolomé.
The Cabildo invites you to support her
Precisely, and due to the success obtained by Eva, from the Tourism Board of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Lanzarote residents are encouraged "to watch the program on December 23, and to vote in favor of the young artist." The Councilor of the Board, Luis Arráez, has stated that "we must all support Eva since, as other artists from Lanzarote have done, she is taking the name of the Island far and promoting it. It is our duty to bet on her and contribute to her winning and help her promising professional career take off."
