The concert of the "Three Tenors and a Soprano", where all tickets had previously sold out, was part of the program of events that took place to commemorate the opening of César Manrique's last spatial work on his native island.
Lanzarote received the performance of one of the great voices of opera in Europe, who, accompanied by three outstanding leading tenors in Spain, put the finishing touch to the twentieth anniversary of the opening and creation of the Cactus Garden, the last work designed by the artist.
The program of activities for the celebration of this anniversary coincided with the eighteenth anniversary of the disappearance of the brilliant artist from Lanzarote in a traffic accident. In addition to the lyrical performance, the Garden offered a magical image that night with lighting created for the occasion.
The concert, which was highly applauded, also featured performances by the well-known tenors Ricardo Bernal, Javier Lassaletta, Adolfo Nieto, along with the famous soprano from Ukraine Zhanna Vannat, and the outstanding pianist César Belda, the creator of the great musicals of the Gran Vía in Madrid.
On September 25, the Centers also offered an open day, where hundreds of people visited the facilities and participated in the "Paint in the Garden" day.
