The "Santa Elena" Senior Center in Playa Honda celebrated its fifth anniversary this Monday by offering refreshments, various activities and musical performances to attendees. The event brought together 60 people, including the mayor of San Bartolomé, Marcial Martín Bermúdez, and the Councilor for Social Services, Concepción Álvarez Camacho. Both shared with the elderly the different activities that were organized.
During the celebration, there was a performance by the Municipal Parranda "Aguapata", from El Islote, and the inauguration of the photographic exhibition "As we were".
