The Councilor for Health and Social Services of the Yaiza City Council, Juana Guardia, points out that the Playa Blanca Health Center has a Health Care service from Monday to Friday, until 10:00 p.m., thus extending the public service hours established before, until 8:00 p.m.. "For just a couple of weeks we have a doctor who covers this service, so patients who need it can use it in that time slot, avoiding the trip to Arrecife and, above all, saving time in situations where time is very important," said the councilor.
It should be remembered that the population of the municipality of Yaiza and, above all, that of the tourist center of Playa Blanca, has requested improvements in the provision of health services during the last years, and this Health Care service is the result of some of the efforts between administrations that have been carried out for this purpose.
