"I am very calm and I have complied with all the rules". This is how the owner of the Kokum Club, Ludovid Vera, has stated, who has denied that the security regulations for the coronavirus have been breached in his premises, as denounced by the representatives of the Garden, Tecla Karaoke, La Grulla, and DiscoKopas La Marina venues.

Thus, this businessman has announced that he will take legal action against the complainants. "I am going to take strong legal measures, I am going to file a complaint", stated Ludovid Vera, who also pointed out how he has had to "endure insults, threats and a thousand nonsense" on social media.

"You can't play, out of vendetta, out of rage, out of anger, for whatever you want, and spit in the air like that. It is not lawful, much less to name places that have nothing to do with it. It doesn't seem coherent to me and I've been in this for many years. And even less taking advantage of a situation like the one we are experiencing with the issue of Covid, with how badly we are all having it, he added Ludovid Vera. And it is that, although the complaint through the media against his nightclub was signed by four venues, he has assured that "only one person makes it". "It is a businessman who has three venues in that area, several companies", he pointed out.

"It is a businessman who has three venues, a kind of monopoly. I understand his complaint, I understand his anger and I can even understand it, from him and his partners, because they opened before me. I decided not to open when I could because neither the regulations, nor the laws, nor what was happening were clear at all. I waited two or three weeks more and opened in a different way and tried to make sure that the venue had all the absolute security and legal regulations", he insisted.

Thus, although La Grulla was mentioned as one of the complaining venues, he stated that its owner called him and told him that "he has nothing to do with this complaint and that he does not agree with what has been done at all". "They have nothing to do with that. They have used their name, I think it's very ugly and they will take their measures", added Ludovid Vera, who even pointed out that he has "a very good and cordial relationship" with those responsible for this business.

He claims that the capacity did not reach 40% and that people were dancing "in private areas"

Regarding the accusations launched against him and the images disseminated by the complainants in which people were seen dancing without respecting the safety distances inside the Kokum Club, its owner has stated that the regulations "say that the dance hall cannot be used as such, but tables and chairs can be placed for private areas", which is what he claims he did. "And in your private area of eight people you can do whatever you want practically. Nowhere does it say that you can't dance", he defended.

Likewise, he has denied that the permitted capacity was exceeded. "If you look, how many people are in the video? 30 or 40 people in a room of 150?", questioned Ludovid Vera, who stated that the capacity "did not reach even 35 or 40 percent of the capacity, when it is 70 what the law estimates".

"The Police saw nothing wrong"

In addition, he stated that "the Local Police not only went on Friday, but went on Saturday up to three times" and "saw nothing wrong". "He only told me to be careful, nothing else, and of course I am careful. I have a person inside the room, I am inside everywhere, I have my bathrooms taken care of by a person cleaning, with hand sanitizer, and advising them to put on the mask", he specified.

Even, the owner of the Kokum Club has assured that the temperature was taken to all the people who accessed the venue. "To enter I had two people, one with the laser thermometer controlling everyone who entered and that they showed us the mask. Without a mask you could not enter", he indicated.

"I don't want to talk about vendetta. I don't know, I prefer to say that there are businessmen who are bad, as I can be after four months, having a very bad time, with family, with people you have had stopped, that it is complicated to reopen, that you open, that the regulations are not clear, that you have the Police around you, Health..." concluded the owner of the Koum Club.
