This past November, the Official School of Languages of Arrecife commemorated 30 years dedicated to language teaching and the cultural enrichment of the Lanzarote community. To celebrate, the school organized a special gala on Wednesday, November 27, accompanied by cultural and artistic activities that highlight linguistic diversity and the importance of language learning as a bridge between cultures.
The highlights included a multilingual theatrical improvisation show, led by international artists, as well as inspiring talks by speakers from different social fields. In addition, a new multilingual reading corner was inaugurated, designed to foster a passion for languages and offer students a space where they can explore new languages through literature.
Since its foundation in 1994, the EOI Arrecife has been a benchmark in language teaching on the island, training thousands of students in English, French, German, Arabic and Spanish for foreigners. During these three decades, the school has promoted not only linguistic learning, but also values of inclusion, diversity and cultural cooperation, establishing itself as a key space for personal and professional development in Lanzarote.
