The Guardamar Polinia of Maritime Rescue has intercepted a new precarious boat this Tuesday in waters near Lanzarote, according to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies (CECOES).

On board would be traveling a total of 60 people, 56 of them men, three women and a minor.

This boat joins the rest of the inflatable boats that Maritime Rescue has rescued on this day in which around 271 people were traveling.

In addition, the National Police has requested the Government of the Canary Islands to be able to use the tent of the Muelle de Naos to accommodate about 150 people, a request that has already been granted.
