The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow warning for haze for this Sunday.
The first weekend of carnival will be marked by the effect of dust in suspension, which will affect visibility to 3,000 meters.
The mass of dust will enter from this Saturday, February 11, but will be more important for Sunday. Along with this, the wind will also increase from the east-southwest component, although, for the moment, "it would not reach warning thresholds", as reported by Aemet.
For its part, the swell will also increase both on the coast of Lanzarote and on that of La Graciosa (although not reaching alert), reaching a force of five to six, and from rough to strong swell.
No rain is expected
Regarding rainfall, Aemet has highlighted that although it could still rain tonight, it is "unlikely" and, if it occurs, we would be talking about weak rains.
For its part, during Saturday and Sunday no type of precipitation will be recorded.
