The elders of Teguise, invited by the City Council, enjoyed this Saturday a new Christmas meeting, which is "something more than a lunch to celebrate the beginning of the holidays together and remember the best moments of the year in good company", with music and dance included that, in this new edition, was in charge of the orchestra Sintonía Show Lanzarote.
The mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, the councilor Olivia Duque, as well as the councilor of the Elderly area of Teguise, Nori Machín, together with the rest of his government colleagues, received all the elders at the doors of the Farmer's Monument, after their previous visit to the municipal Nativity Scene of the Villa.
In the emblematic Center of Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote, Teguise and more than 500 elders from all its payments returned to enjoy a gastronomic menu and "the best of environments", in a day in which "there was no lack of illusion and joy to celebrate a very special event without restrictions, as well as raffles of trips, Christmas baskets and final music and dance, which showed the good shape of the group of elders of Teguise and La Graciosa".
