The most carnival rhythms were the protagonists, once again, of the parade of floats of the municipality of Tinajo. Although with a delay of three hours, which the deputy mayor, Aquilino Romero, explained as "beyond the organization's control", the floats ended up appearing on the Avenida de los Volcanes that crosses the municipality. Aquilino Romero was in charge of opening the parade, accompanied by one of the most traditional carnival characters in Lanzarote.
The gardeners and their watering can paraded among laughter, with the rhythms of the float. And so they showed that not only children enjoy costumes. Each component watered their own garden, since the Tinajo children complemented the float dressed as flowers.
La Vegueta also had its own representation in the carnival arena of the municipality, dressed in safari and accompanied by the mayor of Tinajo, Jesus Machín.
Formula One also toured the arena. The cars of Fernando Alonso and Michael Schummacher paraded among fireworks throughout the tour.
The originality of the masks and the dedication of the troupes and musical groups made all attendees enjoy a carnival night with lots of fun and fantasy.
