The Local Section of the Radio Amateurs Union of Arrecife, of URE, on behalf of the Radio Amateurs of Lanzarote expresses its condolences for the death of its former president, Plácida Margarita Hernández Cabrera, EA8BIO.
From the Local Section they show their "regret for this loss and send their condolences to all family, friends and loved ones."
In addition, other condolences have been added from the world of sports, the media and politics since Plácida was the sister of coach Emeterio, the former PP councilor in Arrecife, Ángela Hernández and the graphic reporter Doris
The farewell will take place this Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Mémora funeral home in the capital of Lanzarote.
Plácida died at the age of 71 in an accident that occurred on the night of Sunday, January 19 near Puerto del Carmen.
