Two minors, aged 9 and 14, were injured this Sunday in a collision of two motorcycles in the El Jablero area in the municipality of Teguise, according to the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112.
The accident took place around 1:50 PM, at which point the CECOES was alerted to the collision of two motorcycles with minors who required medical assistance on a dirt road. Two ambulances, one medicalized and another basic life support, from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and Local Police officers have been dispatched to the scene.
Once at the scene, healthcare personnel assisted a 9-year-old boy who presented with several moderate prognosis traumas and once stabilized, he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to Molina Orosa. The other minor presented with minor contusions and was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the hospital.
