The socio-cultural center of Playa Honda hosted the first grand prize of "scalextric". It was held in the afternoon of Saturday, December 15, organized by the Barbanza Sport Club in collaboration with the San Bartolomé City Council.
In total, 40 people participated, aged between 9 and 35 years old, and three prizes were awarded. María Dolores Corujo Berriel, Councilor for Sports of the San Bartolomé City Council, was present at the event, encouraging the participants for this innovative initiative to move forward, taking into account the success that this first initiative has had at the island level, which unites people of different ages who are fond of "escalextric".
