The Farmer's Monument hosted the presentation of the 'Yes, I do, Lanzarote' Celebrations and Weddings Fair, which will be held from November 2nd to 4th in San Bartolomé. The event was attended by the mayor of the municipality, María Dolores Corujo, the councilor of Tourism Promotion, Industry, Commerce, Energy, Crafts and Economy of the Cabildo, Ángel Vázquez, the councilor of Tourist Centers (EPEL CACTs) and Tourist Planning, Echedey Eugenio, the councilor of Commerce of the City Council David Rocío and the councilor of Tourism, Isabel Sosa, among other municipal councilors.
The mayor, María Dolores Corujo opened the press conference, inviting all citizens to participate in this fair and emphasizing that San Bartolomé "is a clear island destination for weddings and celebrations." Corujo thanked the Commerce and Tourism areas of the City Council for their "involvement in carrying out this already consolidated" fair, in which more than 50 stands will show the novelties of the sector. She also thanked the Cabildo and companies in the sector for their collaboration, hoping that in future editions the Government of the Canary Islands will also be involved in this initiative.

"Lanzarote is a reference in wedding destination for its climate and spectacular landscape", said the Councilor of Tourism Promotion of the Cabildo, Ángel Vázquez, who also highlighted the work that has been done from Lanzarote Moda. "Lanzarote deserves initiatives like this, San Bartolomé deserves it", concluded the councilor, who conveyed his gratitude to the mayor, councilors and all the people, entities and companies that have made this event possible, highlighting the work done by the local designer Oswaldo Machín to promote events like this.
For his part, the Councilor of Tourist Centers, Echedey Eugenio, said in his speech "the importance of the CACTs in promotional events like this", recalling the growth that this Celebrations and Weddings Fair of San Bartolomé has been experiencing in these three editions, consolidating itself in this sector.

As for the Councilor of Commerce of San Bartolomé, David Rocío, he spoke of the importance of this fair, noting that it is the "third regional of the sector", and demanded the support of the Government of the Canary Islands. "It is a great event in which a wide range of products and companies that develop and offer specialized and cutting-edge works are brought together", said the mayor, who explained that you can visit stands of fashion, accessories, details, showcooking, hairdressing shows "and much more, all related to making each event something unique and adapted to the taste of the consumer, increasingly demanding who seeks something special from their celebration."
"Surely this fair will be an important point in which to make contacts, learn about the latest trends in fashion, accessories, headdresses, dresses, suits, catering, spaces, etc.", added the mayor, who concluded his speech also inviting to enjoy the fair and thanking the organization and companies involved.
More than 50 exhibitors, fashion shows and activities
The III Celebrations and Weddings Fair Yes I do, Lanzarote, will be held during the days 2, 3 and 4 of November in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park and will feature more than 50 exhibitors, which will show a variety of products for celebrations, events and weddings. The City Council of San Bartolomé, through the areas of Tourism and Commerce of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Tourism Lanzarote, Tourist Centers, Graficame, Cabrera Medina and Grupo Decoo organize this fair in which we can find everything necessary for a wedding or celebration to become "something more than special, something unique."
In addition, within 'Yes I do', you can enjoy catwalks, in which collections of leading firms in the national sector will be shown, as well as the novelties of regional designers such as Diazar and Pomeline (Isla Bonita Moda?La Palma), Amarca (Tenerife Moda), Betho Couture (Gran Canaria Moda Cálida), Azu Vila and Oswaldo Machín (Lanzarote Moda). In this new edition, the exhibition space is also expanded by more than 400 m2, "taking into account the success of previous editions." They will be distributed in the exhibition area, chill out terrace area and parade areas.
Bloggers and influencers from all over the Canary Islands
On the day of the inauguration there will be a Blogger Meeting with bloggers and influencers from all over the Canary Islands, who will learn first-hand about the latest trends exhibited at the fair in fashion and decoration for celebrations and weddings.
