The Al Andalus Association of San Bartolomé has organized this Thursday, with the collaboration of the City Council, a great party to celebrate Andalusia Day in the Plaza Santa Elena of Playa Honda. After the raising of the Andalusian flag, at 1:30 p.m., a large group of attendees, including the mayor of the municipality accompanied by other members of the Corporation, as well as other political representatives of the island, toasted with a glass of typical wine from the Community.
The performance of a rociero choir that performed the anthem of Andalusia and the Salve Rociera, brought the attendees together around the most traditional Andalusian music. Later, some members of the Al-Andalus Association, dressed as flamenco dancers, gave a dance show, with rumba and sevillanas rhythms to the delight of those present.
