More than 300 people gathered last Friday in the Assembly Hall of the Cabildo de Lanzarote to participate in the 'From the Biosphere to the Noosphere Conference. Mental and emotional ecology', organized by the Biosphere Reserve Office of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, as explained, "in coherence with the Millennium Development Goals and in collaboration with the Integral Mind Institute", directed by Gloria Artiles.

"The meeting between East and West through mindfulness and the search for wisdom, the transpersonal paradigm, the need to cultivate a sustainable mind and mindfulness as a gateway to an integral ecology" were some of the contents addressed in these conferences, which featured the director of the Spanish School of Transpersonal Development, José María Doria, Lama Jinpa Gyamtso and psychologists Patricia Martínez and Darina Nikolaeva as speakers.

The presentation of the event was given by the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés, who was accompanied by the head of the Biosphere Reserve Observatory, Aquilino Miguélez, who presented the conclusions of the 'Seminario conCiencia' -held in October and in which the network of interactions that determines the evolution and balance of the Earth was addressed through the participation of six specialists-, as well as the director of the Integral Mind Institute, Gloria Artiles. The councilor responsible for the Biosphere Reserve, Rafael Juan González, was also present.
