Lanzarote registers a new peak, with 12 cases of Covid in the last day

Active cases have risen to 83 with only seven discharges

Lanzarote has registered a new peak, adding 12 new cases of Covid in the last day. Thus, although seven discharges have also been registered, active cases have risen to 83.

The island had not exceeded ten daily cases since just a week ago and this Wednesday it had only added two positives. Now, with this new rebound, the accumulated incidence at 14 days has increased to 55.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. However, the accumulated incidence at seven days has decreased, standing at 23 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Lanzarote has already accumulated 4,547 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 4,419 have overcome the disease and 45 have died.
