Lanzarote registers 13 new positive cases of covid and active cases rise to 70

In the last 24 hours, only five discharges have been reported on the island

Lanzarote has registered 13 new positive cases of Covid in the last day, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Active cases have risen again to 70, since in the last 24 hours only five discharges have been reported on the island.

Regarding the accumulated incidence, at seven days it has increased by almost seven points, going from 23.1 to 30.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. As for the incidence at 14 days, it has risen slightly to 55.19 cases per hundred thousand inhabitants.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, 180 Covid tests were carried out on the island in the last day.

Lanzarote already accumulates 5,771 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 50 died and 5,652 have already overcome the disease.
