The collaboration project between the main museums and cultural centers of Lanzarote was presented this Tuesday, November 6, at the Castillo de San Gabriel, in Arrecife. With the presence of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Cabildo, Miguel González and representatives of the entities participating in the initiative, the act consisted of showing the characteristics of this agreement while presenting the Visitors Guide that includes joint information and a complete itinerary to promote cultural tourism in Lanzarote, in addition to incentivizing visits and interest from educational centers and residents.
Divided into three different spaces, the guide includes the museums dependent on the Teguise City Council such as the Museum of the Canarian Emigrant, the Spínola Palace House-Museum and the Santo Domingo Convent Art Center, in addition to including the International Museum of Contemporary Art (MIAC) dependent on the CAT´s and the Cultural Center "El Almacen" of Arrecife.
As for the private spaces, the tour includes the Aeronautical Museum, at the Lanzarote airport; the César Manrique Foundation, in Tahíche; the Wine Museum "El Grifo", in La Geria; the Cetacean Museum, in Puerto Calero; the Agricultural Museum "El Patio", in Tiagua and the Ethnographic Museum "Tanit", in San Bartolomé.
