Lanzarote expects maximum wind gusts of more than 40 kilometers per hour for the beginning of the week

Also, partly cloudy or clear skies are expected, except for cloudy intervals in the early morning and late hours in the north

Heat and wind will be present during the beginning of the week in Lanzarote. This is reported by the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for this Tuesday and next Wednesday. 

Thus, moderate northeast wind is expected, with strong intervals in areas of the south of the island and in inland areas. As for the sun, partly cloudy or clear skies are expected, except for cloudy intervals in the early morning and late hours in the north. Meanwhile, temperatures will remain with little change.

The forecast estimates that temperatures will reach a maximum of 29 degrees at noon on Tuesday. It also estimates that the average minimum temperature will be around 22 degrees. This trend of heat and wind will also continue on Wednesday.

Wind gusts will exceed 30 kilometers per hour in most of the island during Tuesday. While it will be in the north where its strength will be less. As the week progresses, less strong winds are expected, below 25 kilometers per hour

As for the maximum wind gusts, they will be above 50 kilometers per hour on Tuesday; about 40 kilometers per hour from six in the morning until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday; a trend that will also continue on Thursday.
