"Invasor", the film by Daniel Calparsoro that was shot on the island last November, already has a trailer. The film is scheduled to premiere in Spain on December 5th.
In the trailer, you can see some images shot on the island, especially in Arrecife, which for a few days became a real Iraqi city. The film is set in the context of an international mission in the Middle East and Arrecife was the setting chosen for the war images, as well as for other locations.
La Inés street, in the capital of the island, was one of the points where the filming was focused. There, the military convoys invaded the esplanade, while women, children and men, dressed in typical Arab clothes, fled in their wake. Another filming area was the old Garavilla Canning factory, which became a real Arab market, where a car bomb attack was simulated. Both scenes can be seen in the film's trailer.
