The counselor of the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism, Ángel Vázquez, has signed an agreement of collaboration with the seven town councils of the island that activates line 12 of the Corporate Social Responsibility Program 2026 of the Entity, aimed at promoting projects and actions of positive social impact in Lanzarote.

Through this agreement, the Tourist Centers will allocate 306,878.00 euros to initiatives promoted by the seven town councils within areas such as social action, education, culture, sports, innovation, environmental protection, improving the quality of life of people with health problems, as well as cultural and popular events of tourist interest.

The distribution of funds has been carried out according to the criteria set out in the Entity's CSR Program, which combines the allocation of 20,000 euros per municipality with an additional adjustment of one euro per inhabitant linked to the legal population of each locality.

“This agreement reinforces the commitment of the Tourist Centers to the social development of the island. We want the resources generated by our activity to be reinvested in projects that bring value to the citizens and contribute to the collective well-being in all municipalities of the island,” said the counselor of the Entity, Ángel Vázquez.

With this line 12 of action, the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism continue to strengthen their policy of social return and their commitment to the sustainable development of Lanzarote, promoting projects capable of generating a positive, measurable and lasting impact on the community of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, united with the rest of the lines of the Entity's Corporate Social Responsibility Aid Program, endowed in 2026 with an initial budget of two million euros to finance these types of initiatives.
