Last Saturday, the second of the concerts called "The Concerts of the Casa Ajei" organized by the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote took place. With exquisite punctuality, the three components of "Hamelin's Folk Trío" made an appearance in the patio of the Casa Ajei. Group formed by the flutist Francisco García Castro, the guitarist Héctor González Gómez and the percussionist Fernando García González.
Three masters of their respective instruments who managed with great professionalism to introduce the audience to the paths of romanticism. In addition to merging the classic and the current, some musical mixes that only the masters manage to achieve. Francisco García Castro turned his transverse flute into the solo voice of the concert, which at all times was surrounded by the chords of the guitar, also leaving a space for percussion.
The concert, which began with a Brazilian Choro by the composer D. Pecci, continued its course with very varied songs such as Alfonsina y el Mar, the famous bolero Historia de un Amor, as well as three compositions Historias del Tango by Piazzola. A space was also made for Canarian themes such as the Arrorró, and the Polka in homage to José Antonio Ramos. Both the musicians and the audience, among whom were some boys and girls who are attending music classes, did not even blink so as not to miss any of the movements carried out by the masters.
A concert that brought the public to their feet to give a resounding ovation that was then reciprocated with the polka in homage to the greatest of the timple players, José Antonio Ramos.
