Google Street View now shows images of the streets of Lanzarote, after a Google vehicle was taking photographs of the island a few months ago. The great novelty of this application is that it allows you to take "virtual walks" through many streets, being able to rotate 360 degrees on the image.
Google mainly shows images of the main population centers, such as Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise, where it has an almost complete street map. However, of other locations on the island, only photographs of their streets are shown.
To be able to take a walk at street level through the corners of the island, you just have to access [Google Maps->http://maps.google.es/maps?hl=es&tab=wl]. Once a search has been carried out, you have to drag the orange doll that appears to the left of the map and drop it in the place you want to see. Streets that have Street View images will show blue borders.
