The Local Police of Arrecife managed to arrest the three alleged perpetrators of the robbery in a perfume shop in Puerto del Carmen after the agents of Tías warned of the possibility that these people could have fled to the capital. Following this warning, the agents of the capital initiated a device with which they managed to identify the car of the alleged thieves, a rental vehicle that, in addition, had not been returned.
The agents stopped the car and made the three occupants, of legal age and residents on the island, get out of it to search them. According to sources from the Arrecife City Council, "because the stolen products did not exceed 400 euros, those responsible were not arrested."
In this way, the investigation has been made available to the Civil Guard of Tías and the Local Police of the municipality to verify if these people are related to other similar crimes.
Likewise, from the Consistory they explain that "the vehicle was transferred to the depot and it will depend on the car rental company if they file any type of complaint or not."
